On November 21st, we had the privilege of presenting our book "Okuvliga" created by authors Anna Zoteeva and Oksana Basta at Danderyd's Library. The event turned out to be a heartfelt gathering that brought together members of the local community, our friends, and former students.
The evening featured one of the book's co-authors, Oksana Basta, who shared the story behind the creation of "Okuvliga" and the reasons that inspired it. Two heroines from the book, Tetiana and Inna, joined us as special guests. They spoke about their lives before and now, the challenges they have faced in Sweden, and how these experiences have shaped their future aspirations.
The stories resonated deeply with the audience, sparking meaningful conversations.
The presentation ended with Oksana signing copies of the book, leaving everyone with a tangible memory of this special evening.
We are incredibly grateful to Danderyd's Library and Katrin Hugosson for their support and for making this event possible.
Stay tuned for upcoming events where we continue to share "Okuvliga" and the voices of its heroes.
